Immediate opening for a Translation Coordinator (English-Russian) in our Engineering Department.

Our team is a part of large-scale project for construction of complex technical facility in Russia, performed by a consortium of international corporations. 

We work with external Translation Companies that are performing different translation activities on highly technical FEED and EPC documentation, such as equipment datasheets, calculation notes, specifications for equipment and structures, etc. 

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and we’re looking for someone with solid English language and experience in coordinating the third-party translation subcontractors, ensuring consistency, timely completion of transmitted documents and other related tasks of following up with the translation agencies in regard to cost, ACTs and invoices management.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate the external language companies;

• Plan, schedule and monitor translation of technical transmittals;

• Perform final quality checks on translated files (automatic spelling check, glossary compliance and observance of formatting requirements);

• Accurately share data and files between document originators, translators and project managers.

• Maintain a live up to date log of the documentation received for translation

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in English Linguistics or related discipline (languages, publishing, printing, humanities, etc.);

• At least 1 – 2 years of experience in similar role of coordinator;

• Experience in Oil & Gas Processing Industry and Construction is a major advantage;

• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office) are a must;

• The candidate should consider the availability to work from 15:00 to 23:00, or from 12:00 to 21:00 if possible;

• The candidate should be ready to take a qualification test, if required.
